Go Go Gingham

After parading down many catwalks for SS17, gingham has been grabbing everyone’s attention, including ours. From classic black and white, to mixtures of pretty pastels, this print has been amped up for the new season. Our favourite catwalk moment for this trend has to be the House of Holland show. From ravishing ruffled dresses to cute crop tops, I think we all wish that we were one of Henry’s gingham girls (we can dream). Anyhow, for this season we are certainly channelling this entire vibe and paying homage to this revamped print.

For a mid-week outfit worry,  dress up a simple black blouse with a pair of gingham trousers. A gentle tap into the trend without going all out. Now if you want to be slightly more daring with your gingham (oh you rebel), choose a pastel print to make your outfit that bit more modern.

Here are some other pieces that are at the top of our hit list. Now if only our bank accounts were as big as our shopping appetite, *sigh*.

On a musical geek side note; anyone remember D.Gale’s gingham frock? Of course you do. Fiercely sashaying down that brick road with her on-trend frock and infamous heels, she was just always ahead of her time. Gwarn girl!
