Shoesday Tuesday #9 Greased Lightning

It may come as no surprise that we are in LOVE with these shoes from Mango. They have it all. They’re pink backless loafers and they sparkle. And we love all things pink, anything that twinkles and for this season we are most certainly in love with backless loafers.

Plus the lightning bolt means we’ll have Harry Potter worthy magical powers...Accio shoes! Not bad for £59.99.

Everyone needs to get hold of these bad boys faster than the speed of light!

P.S. Sorry if we’ve got Greased Lightning stuck in your head….

Shoesday Tuesday #8: The Pink Obsession Continues

As you can probably tell from our blog, we are drawn to the colour pink. Totally girly with tonnes of Barbie connotations we know, but we just can’t resist. This week we are lusting over these pair of flats from Zara.

With a stylish sling back and large jewels, we just can’t help with imagine ourselves strutting around Elle Woods style in these perfectly pink pumps. Hopefully the weather makes a swift improvement so that we can start wearing them without fear and mud and water marks.

Shoesday Tuesday #7: Pretty in pink

Pink, sparkly and with a pretty bow on top – get ready to meet the ultimate girly girl shoes of SS17.
We’ve fallen head over heels for anything worthy of a fairytale ending and with these shoes…well who needs a boy?!

Why are they so great? I hear those ‘anti-pink’ people ask. These shoes are ticking off several big summer trends: Summer sparkles, metallic and velvet (a few trends we usually associate with Christmas, but not anymore. Nobody is waiting till December to pack on the textures and sparkles), pink (AKA the hottest colour of the season), and to top it off there’s a big old bow.  Thanking you Russell & Bromley!

Shoesday Tuesday #5: Pretty Pearls

Why shop for a metallic shoe when you can get a pair of metallic shoes with pretty pearls on top?

That’s right, our trusty flats have been given a spring make over and we couldn’t be more excited…Mostly because it means we can through out last years plain pumps and buy new ones instead. Any excuse!

We’d wear these bad boys with pretty much anything but they’d look especially great with a pretty summer dress.

Shoesday Tuesday #4: The Furry Loafers

As you can tell from our post last Tuesday, we are partial to a wee bit of fur on our footwear. After sashaying down the Gucci catwalk a  few seasons ago, it seems the fash pack just can’t seem to let go of furry loafers. So wrong one might think, but oh so right in reality. They have the perfect mix of comfort meets cool meets quirky. For that reason, we dedicate this #ShoesdayTuesday not just to one shoe, but to an entire trend.

Furry loafers we salute you!

As we can’t afford the original Gucci’s, (bills, bills, bills), we’ve rounded up our favourite five available on the high street right now.
