Not-so-vintage Vinyl

Both of us work in the print industry which means we get to see trends waaaaaayy before they hit the high street, and there was one trend which filled up with dread when we first saw it: vinyl.

Now we aren’t talking about replacing Spotify with a big old record. We’re talking about super shiny PVC that usually reminds us of the early 00’s (come on, we all had that Ross from Friends moment with leather trousers) or strippers.

But, as the season went on we realised that actually this is a pretty cool trend and this time round it’s much more wearable. Team PVC trousers with a slogan tee or pop a little baker boy cap on. Or make it feel more feminine by wearing a vinyl skirt like us.

Thankfully the high street has cottoned onto the fact that this trend needs to be easier to wear so thankfully most things are lined…no need for talc!

Plus you can wipe it clean when you drop you lunch on your lap #winning.
