Sunshine shades

Even if the sun isn’t shining in the sky (so most days in Britain), it can certainly shine in our wardrobe. ‘How?!’ we hear you cry. With this summer’s hottest colour of course!

Yes we mean not-so-mellow yellow. The colour that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a spring in your step – no man required.

Now Sam insists that yellow doesn’t suit her, but the trick to shopping this tricky colour is to get a shade that suits your colouring. If your fair like Sam then opt for more golden tones that will work well with blonde locks.

Cigdem on the other hand loves a bit of yellow so there’s not much we can say about that!

So yellow-phobe Sam stuck to just a jumper and shoes while Cigdem went head to toe (obvs!). That’s how we wear it, and now here are our fave yellow buys on the high street:
